Cat adoptions continue at 1:00pm today! We have many wonderful cats and kittens looking for a second chance at life.
Don’t forget! Today is the Winter Dog Walk sponsored by Pet Sitters Network North at the Traverse City Civic Center. Break your cabin fever, bring your pets, and have some fun enjoying the fresh air.
Ziva has been patiently waiting for that special someone to come meet her, fall in love with her, and take her home. She is such a cute, gentle, and loving kitty. She came to AC PAW when a very caring couple found her stray and brought her to us. Ziva is a beautiful one year old black and white kitty with a very cute half mustache. She is a great cat who gets along well with other cats. You can meet Ziva this weekend at PetSmart during our weekend adoption hours. She is such a special girl and we would love to see her find her forever home.
Boo Bear is a very sweet 9 year old pomeranian who is looking for a forever home! He loves everyone and is great with dogs and cats. He has a wheat allergy so must stay on a wheat-free diet. If you’d like to meet Boo Bear or if you’d like more information, please call Christine at 231-620-6650.
Lilly was sadly relinquished to AC PAW as her owner could no longer care for her. Lilly’s foster mom says she is a sweetheart! She loves attention and loves to be brushed. She would love to be in a home where she is the one and only cat as she is intimidated by other cats, especially if they are aggressive towards her. Lilly is a beautiful five year old gray cat. She would love to have a chance to prove what a wonderful friend and companion she will be. You can meet Lilly at PetSmart during our weekend adoption hours. Lilly is very outgoing in her foster home, but when you come to see her at PetSmart, she will be the kitty hiding under her blanket.
Just two more days! Celebrate Professional Pet Sitters Week with Pet Sitters Network North on Saturday! The Winter Dog Walk begins at 1:00pm at the Civic Center. No need to register ahead of time. There will be goodie bags, doggy treats, prizes, music, and donations will be collected for No Unwanted Pets! We hope to see you there. :)
Annie is a very sweet girl whose owner could no longer keep her. She is a four year old tiger and white cat. She is okay if you want to pick her up and and she loves to sit on laps and snuggle. Her foster home has other cats and Annie gets along well with them. But if they get aggressive, she will stand her ground. We are not sure how she would be around dogs, but if the dog is gentle and mild mannered Annie should be fine. Annie loves her scratching posts and loves boxes of all kinds. She will go to her new home with her favorite bed. You can meet Annie at PetSmart during our weekend adoption hours.
Wicket is a love! He is a young terrier mix pup who weighs about 25 pounds. He’s very friendly and likes cats and is good with other dogs. He has been OK with kids in his foster home. He came to our rescue after his owner moved and could not take him. Wicket will need some extra training as he has a small issue with urinating when he gets overly excited. His vet suspects that it will resolve itself in time. Wicket will need proper exercise for his terrier energy, but afterwards he loves to hang out and cuddle on the couch.
Got cabin fever? Celebrate daylight saving’s arrival with Pet Sitters Network North on Saturday, March 8th! The Winter Dog Walk begins at 1:00pm at the Civic Center. There will be goodie bags, doggy treats, prizes, music, and donations will be collected for No Unwanted Pets: Spay/Neuter Coalition of Greater Grand Traverse Area!
We just took in this sweet kitty yesterday. She was sadly abandoned outside by her owners but left in a cage with a note. A very nice couple took her in, but she escaped through a cracked door. She spent some cold nights outside, but was caught yesterday. She is very thin from her ordeal but a very sweet cat. She’s not the least bit shy! She will put on some weight and be spayed in a few weeks before she’ll be ready for adoption. She’s one lucky kitten! It’s sad how many abandoned cats we see each year and many are not as lucky as this sweet kitty.
Do you have any name suggestions? What should we name this cutie?
