AC PAW Animal Rescue
Maddie is a very sweet and willing girl. She loves to please when she understands what is expected of her. She will need some additional training in her new forever home. Maddie is a five year old black and white rat terrier and you can meet Maddie this Saturday during our adoption hours.
Ratchet and Miss Mr. are two of our “Grease Monkey” kitties. They came to AC PAW with their two littermates, Piston and Mittens. The kittens came to us from a car repair shop where they had lots of fun playing and getting covered with car grease, thus the name Grease Monkeys. It took two baths to get them all clean, but they are shining now and ready for their new homes. Piston has been adopted, but Ratchet, Miss Mr. (we thought she was a boy), and Mittens are up for adoption. They are the sweetest, most playful and fun kittens. Ratchet and Miss Mr. are very cute black and white long hair kitties. They are 10 1/2 weeks old and you can meet them this weekend at PetSmart during our adoption hours.
Congratulations to our pets who found forever homes this weekend!! Our doggies, Jack, Clyde, Loki, and Hulk, and kitties Frosty and Precious (together!), Jiffy, Piston, Pepper, and Rosie all found forever families. \u003C3

Congratulations to our rescue dog, Jack! After a very long wait for the perfect forever home he was officially ADOPTED on Saturday! Many thanks also go to his loving and patient foster family, Jane and Courtney Findley. We know they will miss Jack very much. \u003C3
Our Pet of the Week: Angus was transferred from Wexford Animal Control to AC PAW. He was missing patches of hair and the vet believes it was from flea allergies. After lots of loving care from his foster mom, his fur is starting to come back, but it will take a little time before Angus has his full coat back. Angus is such a nice kitty! He was a stray and has been through so much. It will take him a little while to warm up and learn to trust. This kitty deserves a chance to have a good life in a loving home. He will need someone who will understand his needs and will faithfully treat him for his allergies. Angus is a two year old very handsome black kitty with medium length hair. Stop by and meet Angus at PetSmart in Traverse City.
MISSING CAT: Harry has been missing for over two weeks from 9th St and Union St in Traverse City. He is unfamiliar with the area and greatly missed by his family. If you have seen him or have any information, please call his mom, Sara, at 231-633-3279.
It’s Adoption Day at PetSmart! Stop by between 1 and 6pm to meet our cute and playful adoptables. We have lots of special pets looking for their new best friend.
You may remember our ragamuffin kitty from last January. Here’s a photo of Odin now!
He was living outside of the Lowe’s Garden Center for over two years when we took him in. This winter would have been his second cold and long winter if the nice people at Lowe’s hadn’t called for help. Odin had an injured ear and eye, and was very thin and frightened. Look at him now!! He was lovingly adopted by someone at Lowe’s who had followed along with his progress. He’s now happy, healthy, and so loved!
MISSING DOG: Rosco is missing from Gonder Rd. in Interlochen. He’s a 6 1/2 month old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix with who is mostly white with tan coloring and black around his ears. It has been over 24 hours since he’s gone missing and his family misses him very much. If you have seen him or have any information, please call Christine at 231-342-1984.
Pepe the kitten is about as cute as they get when it comes to kittens! He came to AC PAW from animal control with his two littermates. His sister and brother have both found their new homes and Pepe would love to have somebody come take him to his forever home. He is a fun and very sweet nine week old black and white kitten. You can meet him at PetSmart this weekend during our adoption hours!
