Our Pet of the Week: Gideon may be a big boy (weighing 23 pounds), but he’s an even bigger lover! He loves to be held, to sit on your lap, and he loves to snuggle. He will wrap his front paws around your shoulders. Gideon gets along well with other cats and dogs when introduced slowly. He is not an aggressive cat. He is a very gentle guy and should not be in a home if there are other cats or dogs that will be aggressive towards him. For more information or to meet Gideon, please contact us.

Hi, my name is Suzy! I’m an adorable 2 year old brindle Chihuahua mix. I was staying at a hotel with my family and thought we were going on adventure, but they left me chained up to a fence and didn’t come back to get me. Some nice people found me and called AC PAW. I’m such a sweet and lively little dog. I don’t understand why I would be abandoned. I’ll probably be a little shy and timid the first week you bring me home, but with a little love I’ll adopt you as my new best friend. I love to play, go on walks, and be active. Even though I’m a little girl, I need someone who will be active with me. I love the kitties in my foster home, and they love me! There are also two large dogs. We get along well, but I usually just stay clear of them. I’ve been working really hard on my potty training with my foster mom; she says I’m doing great but could use a little extra training. I’m also really good in my crate.

If you’d like to adopt me from AC PAW, please fill out their pre-adoption questionnaire.

FOUND: Another lost doggy today. This guy was found at Menard’s at Chums Corner in Traverse City today. He’s about a year old male boxer/lab mix. He was not wearing a collar and does not have a microchip. If you know his owners, please contact Mark at 231-499-8676.

Our Pet of the Week: Syd had a very sad beginning and we are hoping this super sweet girl will find a place in someone’s heart. Syd was left in a taped up box on a hot July day. Luckily a caring man found her and brought her to us. Syd was adopted and we were so excited, but was sadly returned because her owner had passed away and his wife could no longer care for Syd. She has been sad and confused with so many changes going on in her life. She is in a foster home once again where she is very loved and cared for, but we are hoping Syd will soon find her forever home. She is one very special girl that deserves a chance to have a home where she will be safe, loved, and know she will never have to leave. You can meet Syd this Saturday during our adoption hours at PetSmart or for more information please contact us.
