MISSING CAT: Harry has been missing for over two weeks from 9th St and Union St in Traverse City. He is unfamiliar with the area and greatly missed by his family. If you have seen him or have any information, please call his mom, Sara, at 231-633-3279.

You may remember our ragamuffin kitty from last January. Here’s a photo of Odin now!

He was living outside of the Lowe’s Garden Center for over two years when we took him in. This winter would have been his second cold and long winter if the nice people at Lowe’s hadn’t called for help. Odin had an injured ear and eye, and was very thin and frightened. Look at him now!! He was lovingly adopted by someone at Lowe’s who had followed along with his progress. He’s now happy, healthy, and so loved!

MISSING DOG: Rosco is missing from Gonder Rd. in Interlochen. He’s a 6 1/2 month old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix with who is mostly white with tan coloring and black around his ears. It has been over 24 hours since he’s gone missing and his family misses him very much. If you have seen him or have any information, please call Christine at 231-342-1984.

Pepe the kitten is about as cute as they get when it comes to kittens! He came to AC PAW from animal control with his two littermates. His sister and brother have both found their new homes and Pepe would love to have somebody come take him to his forever home. He is a fun and very sweet nine week old black and white kitten. Jack is really a great dog. He has been in his foster home for quite a while now and we are hoping someone will open up their heart and give this special dog a new forever home. Jack is a young adult husky who has so much devotion and love to give to just the right person. He will get along with some dogs, but does not like cats. He will need to be in a home that has a fenced in yard. He will play ball endlessly if given the chance. He loves to be near his “person”.

Rascal was adopted from our rescue at six months by a very nice couple. Sadly she was returned at seven years old as the apartment complex would not allow pets. Rascal has been with AC PAW for almost a year looking for a new forever home. She is in a foster home but does not like other cats so she has to be kept separate. She has full run of the downstairs but would really love a home where she can be with her family all of the time. Rascal does not do well at the PetSmart adoption days. She loves her foster home but does not want to be at adoptions with other cats, dogs, and noises. As soon as her foster mom puts her carrier on the van seat to go back home, she is back to her sweet self.

Rascal is a very inquisitive cat. She loves to climb and will try to get as high as possible. Rascal will check on you to see where you are at and then continue on her way. Her favorite sleeping spot is on the bed with her fleece blanket. She loves to curl up with you at night and be petted. Rascal is a domestic long haired black and white cat. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and front declawed. Rascal would do best in a home with no other pets or small children. She is available for adoption. Clyde and his brother, Buster, are up for adoption. They are three month old catahoula puppies. Catahoulas are a working breed who will need to know that their owner is the pack leader. They are great dogs for just the right person. Clyde and Buster will need an active home with a fenced in yard. Clyde is a leopard color with white markings and Buster is a black puppy with white on his chest. You can meet them both at PetSmart this Saturday during our adoption hours of 1-6pm.

Our Pet of the Week: Lucy was a stray that was living in a family’s garage. They were caring for her and loved her very much, but were unable to keep her so they contacted us to help find Lucy a forever home. Lucy is a very sweet cat. She is gentle and loving and is good with children. We think she would do best in a home as a one and only kitty, as she does not seem to do well with other cats. Stop by tomorrow and meet the hound brothers, Edgar and Edward. Along with our many kitties, they will be at adoptions at PetSmart from 1-4pm. These handsome guys were found as strays. They are both very sweet 11 month old Walker hound mix puppies and are good with people. They will need some extra training and are looking for homes with fenced in yards. Stop by and say hello!

Penelope has a great personality! She loves to cuddle and play. She was found as a stray. This wonderful kitty has so much love to give and deserves a chance to have a home where she knows she will always be safe and know she is very loved. Frosty would love to be adopted with her best friend, Precious (featured yesterday). They were both dropped off at animal control because their owner wanted to travel. Like Precious, Frosty is a sweet cat who gets along well with everyone. She is a beautiful four year old dilute calico. Frosty and Precious would be wonderful companions for just the right someone who we hope will want to keep them together. Frosty and Precious are waiting at PetSmart for just that special person.

Little Zinger was with his foster mom at our Adopt-a-thon last weekend. His life depends on being bottle fed and cared for in every way. Thank you to our loving volunteer, Iola, for taking on the job of kitty momma! Zinger is so full of energy and is all about being a fun loving kitten. He was brought to AC PAW because his brothers and sisters died, luckily he is a fighter and got to us in time to help. \u003C3

Precious is eight years old but still enjoys life to the fullest and has many quality years left to be a wonderful friend and companion. Her owner wanted to travel so left Precious and her buddy, Frosty, at animal control. Precious is a very loving kitty who is good with everyone. She is a very pretty brown tiger cat with short hair. She would enjoy a home that has a slower pace of life. Precious and Frosty have been together for many years and we would love to see them go to the same home. They are both wonderful cats and you can meet them at PetSmart.
